Would you please open the GIFT!

Hopefully this bulletin is in your hands because you were able to celebrate the Crucifixion, Death, and Resurrection of God’s Son at St. Louise with us this weekend! Jesus reassured us time and time again that to see Him lifted up on the Cross was the beginning of an extraordinary, life-changing gift!

To see Jesus lifted high on the Cross is to see God! Do you want to know who God is? Do you want to know what your purpose in life is? Do you want to know of His love for you? Do you want to know what He thinks of evil? Well, look at Jesus on the Cross! Our Father has not only revealed who He is, and His tremendous love and dedication to you but He has also unleashed a power to completely turn the tables on evil, the evil one, suffering, and all forms of enslavement to sin, darkness, and sadness in your life.

Because our use of freedom (our poor use of it at that) caused our world to be broken, our Father wants your use of your freedom to be part of making all things new, of making all things right. The GIFT of His Son is just that: it’s a GIFT! It requires you to open it. To open it is quite easy: you simply have to believe that in the Crucifixion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus, our Father has revealed His personal love and dedication to you! Do you believe? Well then, open your heart and allow our Risen Lord Jesus to move with power in your heart and life!

This Easter Sunday is indeed the day that the Lord has made. Let us all rejoice together as we celebrate Christ’s resurrection and keep each other in prayer this week.
